On Arrival
- Unwrap your arrangement immediately.
- Trim 2–3cm from all stems at a 45-degree angle.
- Place in a clean vase filled with fresh, cool water.
- Remove any leaves that would sit below the waterline.
Daily Care
- Change the water every 2 days.
- Re-trim stems slightly with each water change.
- Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Avoid placing near fruit — ethylene gas accelerates wilting.
Extending Vase Life
- Use the flower food sachet included with your arrangement.
- Keep flowers in a cool room overnight — 15–18°C is ideal.
- Remove wilting blooms to prevent ethylene spread.
- Mist lightly with cool water for delicate varieties like peonies.
Specific Varieties
- Peonies: keep cool and loosely wrapped until ready to open.
- Hydrangea: submerge entire stem in water for 20 minutes if wilting.
- Tulips: they continue to grow — trim regularly and keep upright.
- Roses: recut stems under water to prevent air bubbles.
